I thought this would be a great way to keep everyone updated on things going on with our Family! Carson turned 2 in August and he is truly the light of my life. Hannah joined our family in October and is such an amazing and sweet little girl! She is the perfect person to round out our family. It's a crazy life but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world! We have been truly blessed and are very lucky!

Poopy Week!
Last week was a poopy week.... Good news is that we're getting new floors! Hannah also sneezed last week in the bath tub. For 2 1/2 years I have avoided this problem! She and Carson both laughed as I scrambled to get them both out. Then Carson fell on the wet tile... Lots of chaos ending with chase coming home just as the second pair or jammies were zipped up! I swear he must have had a camera and was waiting for all to calm down to come inside! Impeccable timing! Of course we were all excited to see daddy! Just like always!

This weekend my dad and Patti came to visit! I failed miserably on the photo taking so I guess they'll have to come back! Hannah sure did like snuggling with papa!

Baskets for Hats
This weekend we went to eat dinner with some friends! This is Rylie, Carson's best friend. They've been together ever since Carson was born and I went back to work! Rylie even had a little taste testing experiment once with one of Carson's bottles. They always play well together and the mommies love play dates too!
Carson has found new ways to entertain himself with Hannah now that she's doing more than just laying around! He likes to take her for rides in the car. I should probably consider putting the bottom on so she doesn't fall through... Hmmm
Today our Jake turns four! I can't even hardly believe how fast these past few years have gone! Such an amazing, smart, train and car loving little boy! Happy Birthday! I wish we were there to celebrate with you! Maybe next year we will do a big celebration since your daddy will be home too!

Babies!!!
The past two days have been full of life! Shannon, my best friend from high school had a handsome little boy Theodore Walker and Miranda, one of my work friends welcomed her second beautiful little girl Etta Grey! Both are here safely and moms and babies are doing well!
Jason, one of the guys I work with also has a new little miracle. Gram truly is a miracle as he was born at just 31 weeks 5 days and 3lbs 5oz. His mom had some complications causing an early delivery. Though prepared for the worst outcome Gram came out and was on room oxygen that day! He will still be in the NICU for about 4 more weeks. Both mom and baby are doing well. A true miracle! I am so thankful to have had all these babies come this week! New life is always a great reminder of a higher power. Life is precious and many times we take advantage too often! Today I'm feeling extremely blessed to have my beautiful Hannah and handsome little Carson!

Franklin
FYI.... Franklin the fish died yesterday. Though I am sad... To chases point he lost all importance when Hannah came along and she is Carson's new pet! More concerning is the fact that the house keeper thought I would be lazy enough to keep a vase of dirty water next to the kitchen sink... I mean seriously? I'm half wanting to tell her, not to make her feel bad, but simply out of embarrassment. But did she see him go down the drain? And she didn't leave a note.... I'm just confused!

Happy 3 Month Birthday!
She's growing up so fast! She loves watching brother play trucks and smiles when you smile at her! She is beautiful... And the perfect addition to our family! We are very blessed!
Goodbye 2012
It seems like if you think about how many things happen over the course of just 366 days your life is in a different place.
We started our new year off at one of my best friend Lauren's house in Tulsa. We had a great time. A lot of wine.... Okay I had a lot of wine.... With that must come a bar trick that my neighbor showed me once. I have never been afraid to do something silly to entertain people. First I got someone to push the cork in the bottle.... Then got a trash sack and by this point I knew I had all the tools to show off my trick. Here's the problem..... I wasn't even sure the point of the trick at this point.... Oops. Anyway I had already grabbed everyone's attention so I needed to do something. I turned to my husband for help and he looked just as lost as I was. Double oops! While I continued to entertain everyone by telling them how awesome "it" was going to be.... Chase sat behind people trying to call Brian to find out about this trick..... His exact words after the fact was, he was thinking, 'oh no buddy... You gotta answer the phone, we've got Jenny into trouble here!!' Here's the bad news. It was 130 or so on New Year's Eve. He didn't answer. But there's good news too. I figured out that I was supposed to get the cork out of the bottle with a plastic trash bag, I had someone else to pull the bag and to everyone's surprise, including my own, the cork came out of the bottle! I was beaming with excitement and you should have seen chases face when he heard that sound! After the fact he told me he couldn't believe it and said," oh my gosh she did it"Brian did call a few minutes later and we laughed really hard!
Here's the point. I have never felt more loved by my husband. He was willing to do whatever he could to help me pull this trick off. I probably could have taken offense to the fact that he thought I needed help and was going to look like a huge idiot. Here's the thing... I probably looked like an idiot regardless of if I pulled it off or not..... And he was still proud to be my husband. I WAS in trouble and it meant more to me that he was by my side trying to help me succeed than leaving the room letting me fall on my face! But I didn't! I pulled the trick off! I had fun and laughed hard enough for anyone else in the room! Sometimes you have to remember not to take yourself too seriously!
